Michael Orlinsky, tenor, has performed extensively in the San Francisco, Chicago, Las Vegas areas. He has sung over 50 roles in his quickly budding career, and was well received for his Chicago Premiere of Nielsen’s Maskarade. Critic Lawrence A. Johnson, in the Chicago Classical Review, wrote: “Michael Orlinsky as Henrik, Leander’s servant and masquerade partner-in-crime, was a solid presence.” Michael earned his Master’s Degree in Vocal Performance at North Park University in Chicago, where he received an Assistantship with the Opera Department. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Michael won first place in the North Park University Chamber Music Ensemble Competition with the Dover Ensemble, and First Place in the Polish Arts Club Competition.
