Opera Night: Opus no.115, May 23, 2019



Join us for Opus no. 115 at Servino!


Mezzo-Soprano Sally Mouzon will make her Servino debut on May 23, 2019 and will be joined by a special guest to be announced!

With her abiding love for operetta, Mouzon's voice is a force of nature and will captivate you.




A native of Virginia, mezzo-soprano Mouzon joined the San Francisco Opera Regular Chorus in 1998. Since then, she has appeared in numerous other solo roles with the Company, including the Second Priestess in Iphigénie en Tauride, in which she really shined, Marguerite and a Coal Gatherer in Louise, Second Noble Orphan in Der Rosenkavalier, Second Bridesmaid in Le Nozze di Figaro, and Sister Lillianne in the world premiere of Dead Man Walking.


She also performed as a soloist with other opera; Regional solo roles include Dorabella with West Bay Opera, Siebel in Faust with Sacramento Opera, Little Buttercup in H.M.S. Pinafore with Eugene Opera, Charlotte in Werther with San Francisco Lyric Opera, and Adalgisa in Davis as well as with San Francisco Lyric Opera. She created the role of Mrs. Carroll in Robert Arnold Hall's Mrs. Carroll's Alice and also performed extensively in different operetta.


Mouzon graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Russian Language and American History. She is an avid baseball fan; other interests include teaching preschool and elementary kids about opera, learning about paleontology with her daughter, and making jewelry.
