Vocalist Kristin Clayton Knezevic is a sensational operatic soprano, and Bojan Knezevic, a critically acclaimed bass-baritone. The couple met in 1992, when Bojan Knezevic, born in the former Yugoslavia, came to San Francisco as a participant in the Merola Opera training program and stayed as an Adler fellow. There he met soprano Kristin Clayton, who was dividing her time between opera roles and a long-running assignment as the Diva in Teatro Zinzanni.

The Soprano has received praises from critics all around the world, her voice leaving a lasting impression: the Denver Post remarked about her “pleasing, unaffected voice and natural acting.” San Francisco Classical Voice called hers “a beautiful voice, expressively used.” She is a lyric soprano who performs opera, oratorio and songs both on stage and in recordings, specializing in the works of Jake Heggie.

The bass-baritone began his operatic career singing in all the major opera companies in the former Yugoslavia, including Belgrade, Zagreb and Ljubljana. He then performed concerts in Greece, Romania and in Belgium, where he sang Figaro in Le Nozze di Figaro, which brought him to the United States and to San Francisco, where he currently resides. He is considered one of the Bay Area’s most respected opera singers.

Beside their great success, the singers are also parents, another part of their life that brings them great joy.

Join us for this amazing performance at Servino Ristorante!
